The object of internet blackjack is simple – a player must try to get his cards to equal a point value of twenty one, which is why the game is sometimes simply referred to as twenty one. Each card is assigned a point. Number cards have an equal point value to their number. Jack, queens, kings and the number card ten - all have a value of ten points. Ace is the luckiest card a player can get, the point value can be either a 1 or an 11, depending on the player’s hand. In internet blackjack, a player bets against the dealer and not with the other players. So an internet blackjack player’s main objective is to have a hand of cards closer to 21 than that of the dealer. A player will be dealt two cards in an internet blackjack game. The player will have the options to hit or stand. The first way to lose an online blackjack game is to have your value go over 21 points. A player must get as close to twenty one, without going over. To win in online blackjack, a player must have a higher hand than the dealer. The user also has an advantage over the casino p[latform because the dealer must play their hand according to several rules. Due to the element of player choice in blackjack, a player can actually reduce the advantage by learning to play the game with a basic strategy.
